TWO THUMBS DOWN FOR CONGRESS

The Goomba Gazette’s has coined a new definition for that dirty word CONGRESS and it is not meant to be complimentary.

The latest dastardly turn in President Obama’s lawless implementation of his doomed health-care law is that he has — get this — exempted Congress. If you are following conservative news sources, you are privy to this latest outrage, which is only the latest evidence that Obama knows the law will fail and is protecting his cronies from the damage.

Is this hypocrisy at its finest or what? The politicians in DC have bigger balls than a pawn shop when it comes to looking out for their own interests.

There is a saying in Italian “senza faccia” meaning “without face.” The politicians in Washington are literally spitting in the faces of the American people and laughing while they are doing it by stating “what they are continually jamming down the throats of the peons in the USA is not good enough for the elitists in DC.”  They are under the illusion that they are special people and deserve special treatment. They have been getting away with it for years and are getting worse.

I have verbalized many times in my posts; the people that are supposed to be representing us in Washington and looking out for the health and welfare of its citizens are nothing but a bunch of blood sucking leaches strictly out for their own personal gratifications and financial benefits; it can be taken all the way to the top.

I made a comparison awhile back about the “no good, selfish, greedy father” that always ate steak while he was feeding his kids liver. Does that sound familiar?

Washington has turned into a haven for a bunch of lethargic, over paid under worked  mummies. It takes them forever to act on a bill or make a decision on any critical issue unless it happens to be something that is going to benefit from them.

Not only is O-bombacare not good enough for Congress and the other DC Duds but they are now trying to revive the ruling that enacted the “Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge” a bill prohibiting the use of non-public information for private profit, including insider trading by members of Congress and other government employees. Joe Blow citizens gets sent to jail for misusing inside trading information.

What is it going to take to get our government back to where it should be; looking out for the interest of its citizens and get them off of this self-serving band wagon? It doesn’t seem that voting the right person into office is the answer.

I sometimes wonder if it is going to take an uprising by the good citizens of this country to wake up this dead weight in DC.

They are simply pathetic.
