More than 60 dead as Iraqis mark end to lethal Ramadan:

Car bombs ripped through Baghdad cafes and markets while blasts and shootings struck elsewhere killing 61 people as Iraq marked the end of its deadliest Ramadan holy month in years.

You gotta give it to these Muslims; they sure know how to celebrate a holiday.

Most other religions celebrate their holidays with gifts, family gatherings with some good food and drink. Some of the Muslin communities over in the Middle East have a different take on commemorating their holidays; they kill one another.

Is this supposed civilized people do?

It is the worst bloodshed in five years which raises worries of a return to the all-out Sunni-Shiite sectarian conflict that killed tens of thousands. A good part of a generation has been wiped out over the years. They have a new motto circulating among these madmen “I kill you in the name of god.”

In total 16 car bombs, shootings and other blasts killed at least 61 people and wounded nearly 300 across the country yesterday. Good way to spend a leisurely Saturday afternoon.

The proper way to celebrate the Ramadan holiday is by fasting from dawn until sunset, refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking, and engaging in sexual relations; in some sects they also refrain from swearing; now that is a tough one. It is supposed to be a cleansing thing.

Food and drink are served twice daily before sunrise and after sunset, that is if you can ate or drink anything with bombs going off in your neighborhood and bullets flying through the walls of you house.

It just may be me but I see many contradictions in what the Ramadan celebration was intend for; it surely was not initiated  for the Muslim people trying an annihilate one another.
