What a sad commentary as to what the USA evolved into. We are starting to look like a 3rd world country and picking up speed every-day.

Welfare pays more than a minimum-wage job in 35 states, creating little incentive for Americans to take entry-level work and likely increasing their long-term dependency on government help, according to a new study by the libertarian think tank Cato Institute.

Seventeen years after the Clinton administration, with bipartisan support from Congress, passed landmark welfare reform legislation that was supposed to move Americans away from entitlements and into the workforce. It can be classified as regressing instead of progressing.

The government has created millions of Frankensteins’ that are now totally out of control and bleeding the system for everything it is worth and they do not know what to do with the monsters.

Documents have proven that in 13 states being on welfare pays more than $15 an hour, compared with the federal hourly minimum wage of $7.25.

The government doesn’t give the real bums out there any incentive to work. Studies show that 46% of the people on welfare really don’t need it.

I have no idea what is between the ears of our politicians that make it so easy for its freeloading citizens to be on the social services programs and go through life without dropping a bead of sweat?

If nothing else I am sure of one thing. The future generations of this country will never enjoy the pride and the benefits of what it is like to work hard for a living and be a productive citizen.

Our country was built by hard working solid citizens not on parasites.
