Obama leaving door open to Syria strike, even if Congress votes no:

Play politics at its finest!

One the scale of 1 – 10;  over-night Obama went from a 10 to a minus 5 if he does not get congress’s permission to attach Syria.

Yesterday I gave Obama two thumbs up for “playing by the rules” for his decision in getting a vote from congress before letting the dogs loose on Syria. I did leave a caveat that “if Obama follows through with his decision” he deserves credit. Now it appears that it may be a case of playing politic as usual.

Definition of play politics:

to engage in political intrigue, take advantage of a political situation or issue, resort to partisan politics, etc.; exploit a political system or political relationships.

to deal with people in an opportunistic, manipulative, or devious way. Does it sound about right?

It has been my opinion for many years that the majority of politicians are definitely ego maniacs and everything they do has a self-serving meaning behind it.  It is all about self-gratification.

If Obama does attack Syria without the going through the proper channels this will definitely should be the boulder that sinks his political career; if it can get any lower.

Not only is he going to put the USA into one of the biggest jackpots it has ever been in financially (how can it get much worse) but the USA is going to be in the basement with its popularity around the world. We don’t have many friends at it is, just a bunch of leach countries with their hands out and we keep giving.

Are they just words or should the oath all presidents take have a meaning?

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

It reads constitution, not self-serving ambitions. Does Obama Care fit into that category?
