Putin: Syrian Chemical Weapons Handover Can Only Work If U.S. Renounces ‘Use Of Force’:

I think that is about as fair of a proposition as they come.

The U.S., however, has shown no indication that it would do so. White House press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday on MSNBC that the threat of a strike has compelled Syria to agree to put its chemical weapons under international control. He also said that President Barack Obama would continue to push Congress to vote on authorizing the use of force, even if a strike does not happen immediately.

As I said in yesterday’s posting regarding Putin offer; “Obama is being handed the biggest olive branch he ever received in his life” and now he may reject it. It is total lunacy.

I don’t know what Obama is trying to prove; if he thinks he is a lot tougher than Putin or is it his true self-centered personality sticking out is ugly-head.

Is Obama too stubborn and pig headed to see when someone is trying to help him and the rest of the world and in turn he doesn’t have to embarrass himself and the USA?

If Obama turns down this very generous offer just to save face he should be immediately impeached and get someone in the White House that has some sense, if that is possible.
