Vatican suspends German bishop amid spending investigation:

Now that is a “mortal sin” on the “bishop of bling”.

(CNN) — The Vatican said Wednesday it has suspended a German bishop who has come under fire for his extravagant lifestyle.

Let’s keep those collection baskets full folks; we have to keep these men of the cloth in the life style they are accustom to.

Bishop Franz-Peter Tebartz-Van Elst is under investigation for his spending after his residence in Limburg, Germany, was renovated for $42 million.

$42 million on renovations; this “dapper dictator of the diocese” sure must have one hell of an elegant crib and knows how to piss away the hard earned Marks of the German people.

In all reality, what do the men of the cloth contribute to their parishioners’ lives but just a lot of chatter at the pulpit on Sundays telling them to “do as I say not as I do”.

What do they receive in return? Free housing, meals, maid service, cooks, cars, spending money, and all the wine they can drink; the list is endless.

When we stop to put all of this into prospective, they have a pretty good life.

It has been proven that almost 25% of the men that join the priesthood are gay and they get involved/sign up so they can have access to a “buffet” with all of the kids they have access to.

I am positive that there are many good priests out there but these bums that are hiding behind the cloth, that are out of line in many ways are sure giving the good ones a hard way to go.

How many people has Franz-Peter given penance to that have committed much lesser sins than he has?

The German Dude Franz-Peter Tebartz-Van Elst is a solid hog and should be defrocked for greed and excessive spending. How can he even try to justify his outlandish behavior? I wonder if he believes in hell?
