Red Flags? Company behind Obama-Care site has checkered past:
As the old saying goes “if it looks like a rat, smells like a rat, I most probably is a rat” or something to that effect.

The more the pot is stirred in this healthcare disaster and many other government issues the more scum keeps coming from the bottom.
According to one of the contributors to The Goomba Gazette Brian F, there are bigger concerns in this mess than just a faltered website.
Instead of going through the proper channels and expediting the bidding process the way it should be done by open bidding (contracting process to multiple bidders); the Obama administration had the unmitigated gall to “GIVE” a $ 650 million contract to a subsidiary of a Canadian company, yes a Canadian company that just so happens to employ a very close friend of Michelle Obama.
The lady’s name is Toni Townes-Whitley , Senior Vice President at CGI Federal for Civilian Agency programs. She and Michelle Obama are graduates of Princeton Class in 1985. Both are members of Association of Black Princeton Alumni.
Is the unemployment rate here in the good old USA low enough that the OB administration can afford to give work to a company that is a Canadian subsidiary; making matters worse, there were no other companies asked to bid on the same project.
CGI has a history of some very poor working ethics and performance and have been on the hot seat from various entities including the EHealth Group of Ontario. CGI was hired to design and execute a new $46.2 million project that was finally scrapped and never put into use because the material they produced was obsolete because of all the delays.
CGI was hire by the state of Vermont to design some material for their health care system that ran into very similar problems as Obama-Care has experienced. In 2011 CGI failed to meet 21 deadlines for their completion of the project and were threatened with $125,000 a day in penalties.
How does a company with such a poor track record continue to land federal and state contracts? This may be the answer.
CGI “donated” $47 Million to Obama’s campaign for president.
Is this blatant disrespect and contempt of the American people coming from the Obama administration or what?
The bleeding would not be as bad if the company that was stiffing the USA was one of their own. At least the American taxpayer could feel a little better knowing that an American company was screwing them instead of a foreign owned company.
How is it possible that none of these issues are ever brought up during press conferences with Obama? I will tell you why. All of the reporters are handpicked and their questions are scrutinized long before the Q&A period.
Even Helen Keller could see that there are severe problems with this administration and the degree of boldness and disrespect they have for the American people.
According to campaign records at OpenSecrets.com, CGI Group contributed $345,600 to federal candidates and parties — both Democratic and Republican — during the 2011-12 cycle. Some $147,000 went to the Republican Governors Association; and $35,000 to the Democratic Governors Association. The company spent $400,000 in lobbying expenditures between 2011 and 2012.
It appears to me that CGI is buying its way around politics. There are not taking any chances and are coughing up to both sides just in case. I think that is called CYA big time.
The way the administration explains their outlandish moves is either invoking the 5th amendment, executive privilege or by saying nothing at all. I cannot remember any presidency that was this bold.
From what I remember even “Tricky Dick” wasn’t this hard nosed. Can it be that there are underlying issues that let situations like this persist without and consequences?? I will let the readers answer that question themselves.

On another note. There is a petition circulating that would give the American people the right to vote on what type of healthcare plans and retirement plans all of the stick up artists in DC get. At this point the politicians have their own special plans that are far superior to the Medicare and social security
I think it is the epitome of arrogance that they (all politicians) think that they are better than the people they represent.
My example once more “They are all eating filet migon while they expect the American people to eat liver”! Any head of a family that would eat steak while their kids ate liver are lower than

CONGRESS AND THE SENATE SHOULD RECEIVE CUTS TO THEIR BENEFITS, NOT THE NEEDY
25,240 Letters and Emails Sent So Far
While members of Congress receive excellent pay, health care, and expensive perks and benefits, they target the needy and want to make devastating cuts to programs like SNAP (food stamps), and “Meals On Wheels”, that millions of citizens depend upon to put food on the table. They also want to make cuts to Social Security and Medicare, that we have paid for out of every paycheck.
They want to make budget cuts that will hurt the most needy individuals, yet they do not go without. Most Americans have experienced pay cuts. Members of Congress and the Senate should also give themselves a pay cut, be forced to change health care benefits, and receive the same benefits under the Affordable Health Care Act as everyone else. They should be forced to forfeit pensions, and eliminate, or make cuts to perks and other benefits they reap, if they are truly concerned with saving the government money, and decreasing the deficit.
Here is a list of the perks and benefits they receive:
1. Free parking spaces at the airport in Washington, D.C.
2. A generous pension, which is guaranteed to all members of Congress and the Senate if they have held office for 5 years or more. They also are entitled to Social Security benefits. They should be forced to forfeit this pension, and receive only Social Security benefits like everyone else!
In addition to this pension, Speaker of the House John Boehner will receive an additional $1 million per year, for up to 5 years, after he leaves office, “to facilitate the administration, settlement and conclusion of matters, pertaining to, or arising out of” his tenure as Speaker of the House. This provision will also allow him to rack up huge bills, to “archive” and document materials related to his time in office.
3. Senators get to shop at the equivalent of Congress’ IKEA, furniture supplied through the Architect of the Capitol. Every senator gets $40,000, and potentially more, for furniture in their home-state offices.
4. Members of Congress can deduct up to $3,000 for expenses while outside their home districts or states.
Taxpayers are paying for all of this! Time for Congress and the Senate to make cuts to their own salaries and benefits, to decrease government spending and the deficit!
I demand that my elected officials in the Senate and Congress look elsewhere to make budget cuts, starting with their own paycheck, health insurance and other perks and benefits they receive, instead of targeting the poor, elderly and disabled. If they expect others to go without, it’s time they did also!
Is it the fact that the American people know about all of these back-door tactics and don’t care or do they have their heads in the sand and don’t want to disrupt the apple cart?
“Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!” There are a lot of “shame on me” going around.
It is time the American people begin to speak up for themselves instead of being puppets on a string and a bunch of cowards. Have some pride people!
