Rod Blagojevich corruption appeal to be heard by US appeals court:
Let’s wait and see just how connected Rodney still is.
He has a hearing coming up on Friday in 7th U.S. Circuit of Appeals in Chicago, the court set Dec. 13.
I don’t think that anyone thought he would do the full stretch: after all he was a major player at one time.
Blagojevich’s contention that his 14-year sentence in the a federal penitentiary in Englewood, Colo. should be overturned.
The former Illinois governor tried to make a few extra bucks on the side by selling the senate seat that Obama was vacating when he was running for the presidency.
Rodney was overhear said “It’s a f—ing valuable thing, you just don’t give it away for nothing.” – “If I don’t get what I want … I’ll just take the Senate seat myself,”
The “poster boy” for hair dryers claims it was all a big misunderstanding and those few innocent remarks were not sufficient enough to put him in the slams for 14 years. It was just political banter.
I hear that he really pissed off that the prison does not have a professional hair dresser on staff to keep his coiffure looking good.
