North Korean leader’s uncle ‘executed over corruption’:
He was accused of forming factions against the state, corruption and “depraved” acts such as womanizing and drug abuse. Most of these charges in the USA would be misdemeanors. The offender would get a slap on the wrist and three weeks house arrest.
Unlike the USA where the prep is found guilty, sentenced to death, gets 20 years of appeals, lives in an air-conditioned cell, weight room, library so they can get a law degree and hassle the prison system, Mr. Chang was executed immediately after a military trial on Thursday, calling him a “traitor” and accusing him of seeking to overthrow the state.
I bet Kim’s aunt isn’t talking to the lad anymore. Those family squabbles can get very touchy and cause a lot of cold air at family functions.
The only problem I see with immediate executions are, from time to time the person was not guilty.

Typo: Paragraph 2, word 6 “prep”, should be PERP (Perpetrator).
