What a difference a day makes with a little financial pressure from the Duckers.

Yesterday the father Duck was suspended indefinitely. Today the father Duck’s suspension is only good through March of 2014. Coincidentally the Duckers have enough episodes prerecorded to get them past the suspension date. Lip service only; it is called appeasement.

When it comes to “the almighty buck” A$E is never going to take a chance by dumping “the almighty duck”. A$E knows that those hill-jack relatives are tighter than a frogs ass and would never throw the head duck under a duck bus.

I think the marketing  and concept is brilliant that somethings as  rudimentary would go over the way it has. Personally I could care less about the “Duck Dudes”, Honey Baby Boo Boo or the rest of the scripted reality shows that are so popular these days.

These programs are entertaining for a particular group of people but for my part, especially Honey Boo Boo, I think that they are an insult a person’s intelligence with all of their off the wall antics. People around the world that view these show must have a very low opinion about the American people. In some case they are right.

In an interview the leader of the flock of Ducks Phil Robertson expressed his uncomplimentary beliefs about the gay life style and A&E buckled to the pressures of the gay community.

I happen to agree with the bulk of his statement. If the gay community thinks that are right in what they believe in, isn’t everyone else entitled to their opinion?

If there would not have been any backlash from the gay community all of the mountain man’s comments would have been swept under the rug.

Don’t forget, it wasn’t too long ago that sodomy was against the law. I don’t consider that making progress.

I would be willing to bet that there still are many gay people that are glued to their TV’s when the Ducks start quacking.
