Catholic expert says angels don’t have wings:

Faith is one thing but stupidity is something else. Who were these “Right Handers” polling 3 year old kids?

Angels may be heard on high this holiday season, but according to one Catholic church official, they don’t have wings.

Catholic Church “angelologist” (I guess the Catholics invented the term) Father Renzo Lavatori says angels  are surrounded by shards of light, not wings, according to a Sky News report. BRILLIANT

The brilliant padre even goes so far as to say that angles don’t exist. If they don’t exist how can they be surrounded by shards of light? Hellooooooo!!!! Who really ever thought they did? When I was in the second grade in Catholic school and the nuns were beating me up with a yard stick I believed anything they said.

How about the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy; does anyone really question their true existence or authenticity?

I think that examples like this are part of the reason the Catholic religion is going down the tubes; they call it blind faith, I call it nonsense.

The religion really doesn’t want anyone to take the initiative think for themselves and be question doctrine, they just want the sheep in the flock to follow the leader without question.

At some point in time common sense should come into play, people start to analyze and question, that is when the “celestial bubble” breaks.

I better behave or Santa is going to give me a lump of coal this year.

Angels, as per the Book of Genesis, going to Sodom and Gomorrah, did not have wings. They were more of the type you might want to avoid. Stayed in the shadows. If it were today, they might be wearing trench coats, and have names like, Saint Tony Soprano, Saint Paulie Walnuts. That is what Old Testament angels are like. I believe the wings and cherub stuff started in the 1700s because people feared angels as much as they feared corrupt priests and popes. They changed the image to bring more people around. Technically, a saint, is a true believer (literally), and an angel, is one who helps others without expectation of self reward. Think about that, because it puts everything into a different light. Very profound.
