The Wolf of Wall Street

The Wolf of Wall Street a true story about a guy name Jordon Belfort that founded the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont in the 90’s which operated as a boiler room dealing in very speculative penny stocks, where he and his crew took all of their investors to the stock slaughter house and had a good time doing it.

Belfort had no respect for money and did whatever he could to achieve his fiendish obsessions.

In order to keep his highs going,  “Belfort the stock swindler” developed a hard-partying lifestyle, which included a serious drug addiction to Quaaludes, cocaine, booze and everything thing else the high flying crook could get his hands on and nose into.

In his hey-day Belfort’s company Stratton Oakmont employed over 1,000 stock brokers and was involved in stock issues totaling more than $1 billion which he squandered anyway he could.

This was quite an achievement for a guy that can from nowhere and through his deception and thievery becaming one of the premier crooks and swindlers in the stock trading business.

Along with his addictions to drugs this man was a male nymphomaniac that could not get enough sex, anyway he could and from whomever he could get it from.

Leonardo DiCaprio and the rest of the cast played amazing parts in their portrayals of the degenerate Belfort and his associates.

I don’t know just how accurate the depictions were to his real life but if they were even close to correct this guy had an iron constitution. I would expected any normal human being would die from the abuse he put his body through, at all ends.  His brain should have exploded, his liver should have fallen out and his penis should have fallen off.

The problem I have with the movie; it is the filthiest, vulgar, sexually no holds barred movie I have ever seen on the big screen that was available to the general public. It made the movie “God Created Women” look like a movie that was made about nuns in a convent. It was nothing short of a porno.

As I exited the theater a kid about 14 years old was behind me with some grown-ups. Either they didn’t have any inclination of what the movie was all about as I didn’t or they are some very promiscuous, ignorant parents. I absolutely fault the theater for their lack of vigilance.

For my taste, movies like The Wolf of Wall Street should be rated XXX so people that like that kind of entertainment could do as they chose.

If this movie deserves an “R” rating, the Pope is a Muslim.  The people that rate these movies had to get one hell of an envelope.

I give it 2 thumbs up for its acting and 3 thumbs down for its poor taste in general entertainment. This movie is just one more step in the direction of contaminating the minds of our young kids.

I am sure that many investor in the stock market that saw this movie are giving their brokers a second look today.
