Christie is in the hot seat. The skeleton in a person’s closet always come back to haunt them.
If any of these pending allegations can be substantiated the “metà italiano” from Jersey better pack his bags, make his exit from being a presidential hopeful in 2016 and save himself and his family a lot of grief. The blood hounds never give up in their pursuit.
Along with the traffic debacle where Christie allegedly was doing a “get even thing” to some of his adversaries for past head bumping, federal officials are investigating whether Christie improperly used Super-storm Sandy relief funds to produce tourism ads that starred him and his family. Politicians all love the camera.
Federal auditors will examine New Jersey’s use of $25 million of the funds for a marketing campaign to promote tourism at the Jersey shores. Whether there was any improprieties or not it remains to be seen.
One thing for sure in the political world; if a person decides to get into politics and is a threat to someone they better not fart in public. It will be headlines the next day.
Politics has to be one of the dirtiest games going. I can only think of one worse.
