Questions arise over Obama’s pick for Justice post:
Talk about stacking the deck; Obama isn’t leaving a stone unturned.
Critics of President Obama’s nominee to head the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division have described Debo Adegbile as “radical,” “dangerous” and “outside the mainstream.”
Handing this guy a position like that can be compared to locking a reformed drunk in a liquor store and tell them not to drink.
A few years back when Debo was an ambulance chaser for the NAACP he got convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal’s death sentence overturned. Abu-Jamal was convicted of the 1981 killing of Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner.
Adegbile was asked about the case during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing last week and replied, “It’s important, I think, to understand that in no way does that legal representation, zealously as an advocate, cast any aspersion or look past the grievous loss of Sergeant Faulkner.” His actions may not cast any aspersions over the policeman but it certainly shows a great deal of disrespect for law enforcement.
I genuinely hope that this nomination from Obama is shot down when it comes to a vote. Moves like this by Obama and his administration does not do the race relations in this country any good.
Is this guy the kind of person we need heading the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division? I don’t care what color the person is; we need someone that is impartial and goes by the law instead of their personal convictions.
Obama doesn’t show very much regard for the American public by nominating a guy like Debo. Read this excerpt and judge for yourself.

Radical racist Debo Adegbile has worked hard to free Mumia Abu-Jamal. Abu-Jamal gunned down policeman Daniel Faulkner in Philly in cold blood. As Faulkner tried to arrest Abu-Jamal’s brother during a traffic stop, Abu-Jamal shot the policeman once in the back and then stood over him and shot him four more times at close range, once directly in the face.
