I heard on the news this morning that Mr. Obama is complaining that he cannot do his job effectively with guys like Rush “Rubber Lips” Limbaugh and Bill O’ Reilly bust his tomatoes all the time.
There are only a couple of ways to combat situations like this. Ignore them, don’t comment, start behaving and maybe they will get off his back. He played right into their hands.
“For the most part “ I think that O’Reilly is a pretty fair guy and looks and reports on both sides of the picture.
One the other hand “Rubber Lips” reminds me of a kid that grew up in our neighborhood who was a bully; he chose and picked his sides depending on which way the wind was blowing that day. If you look in the dictionary under narcissistic I will bet that Rush’s picture is there.
I remember a nun in school telling me that “empty barrels make the loudest noise”.
If Obama hasn’t learned by now that ball busting “comes with the territory” he has some waking up to do. The worst thing he could have done was let the public know that these guys were getting under his skin. They have accomplished just what they wanted.
Now let us assume that Obama was doing a stellar job, which he isn’t; even his supporters are now starting to recognize that fact; then he would have some substance for his disapproval of their comments.
If we wanted to pick just one issue, being Obama–Care, it can be substantiated that he has fell far short of his goals and seems it is getting worse every day.
So it is reasonable that he should be scrutinized and criticized for his performance? I say yes.
One rule of life that is so important; never let your enemy know that he has hurt you, than he already has won the battle.
Get used to Mr. O, you have another 3 plus years to go.
