Because he is black

No, Mr. Obama, we don’t dislike you because you’re black:

I think Mr. Obama is opening a can of worms making statements such as he has.

Because Obama approval ratings are lower than at any other time since he took office; his is making an unfounded accusation that some of the American people disliked because he is black. That is nonsense. There may be a small percentage of people that don’t like Obama because he is black but Italians, Polish, Jews, Germans and many other nationalities have suffered the same prejudices. It is human nature.

He doesn’t realize that his ratings are in the basement because he is doing a terrible job as president and has nothing to do with his color.

I have often referred to the word “respect”. Respect is earned not given. When respect is earned, no matter what color or religion a person is the vast majority of people will acknowledge their attributes.

Is this statement from Obama out of line or what – is he looking for sympathy – does he think that prejudicial comments like this don’t rock the already fragile racial cart? If not he better think again.

In a lengthy interview with New Yorker magazine editor David Remnick the president tells him, “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president. Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president.”

What has the benefit of the doubt have to do with anything? It sounds to me like a person with a hang-ups or something’s are transpiring that have a little deception attached to them and needs the benefit of the doubt.

He has no business making racial comparisons like he does being the president of the USA. There is no logical reason why he would make such an inciting remark.

Whether Obama has figured it out yet or not; it is his responsibility as the president to try and create racial harmony throughout the country not racial tensions.

On another note. It is my understanding that Obama is going to try and convince congress to give him more authority in making decisions on the “executive privilege” level than he has already. That would be a total catastrophe if he has his way. He was too much power already for any one person without his decisions being scrutinized by a second or third party.

If congress disagrees with him, hopefully he won’t say it was because he is black.

I would bet my last penny on this fact. If Mr. Obama did his job the way he promised he would and lived up to the commitments he made in both elections, he would be heralded as a hero by every citizen in this country. “Talk is cheap.”

Mr. O – put away the violin and the crying towel and get down to business. You are saying the same things now as you did in 2007. It may be that these statements were taped recorded and replayed over and over. The all sound the same to me.
