Oscar Pistorius looks back a year after killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp:

(CNN) — A year to the day after he killed his girlfriend, South African “blade runner” Oscar Pistorius broke his silence Friday, describing her death as a “devastating accident.”

Pistorius should have thought about how to control his violent temper before he flew off the handle and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

Everything I read about the investigation from its inception points to “The Blade Runner” as the perpetrator and not an accident as he claims.  It appears that the South African authorities have the same theory.

I often marvel at the people that “see god” or do a 360 degree in their life only after the fact. Is it that they feel sorry for themselves for getting caught or is it because they truly repent? I think it is the “door # 1”.
