Obama under pressure to wield more than ‘rhetoric’ amid crisis in Ukraine

President Obama is being pressed to act quickly on the crisis in Ukraine amid accusations that his administration is straddling the fence, as dozens more people were killed Thursday in clashes on the streets of Kiev. 

This is one time, so far, I will side with Obama’s methodology by fence sitting.  

As sad and desperate as thing are in the Ukraine it is none of the business of the United States to be the policemen for the entire world. This is the most relevant issue of why we are in the financial bind we are in, to put it mildly.

I still say “Charity should begin at home”. If in fact the USA ever gets back in the black financially, and I doubt it will, than we can be as benevolent as we would like to be.

Take care of the problems we have in our own country instead of sticking our nose where it does not belong.

If in fact we would have seen some positive results in some of the military endeavors that we got roped into in the last 20 years, than we may be able to say “it was worth the price we paid” but as we all know it panned out to be the opposite.

The USA came away the loser in every war we have fought since before Viet Nam.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Thursday that “a range of options is being actively considered at the White House.” 

Whatever the option is they decide on, except minding our own business, the USA will come out on the short end.

Keep rocking back and forth on that fence Mr. O and do what is right for the country.
