Long-time Obama aide to leave White House:
This may be a case of abandoning the ship as it is going down??
WASHINGTON (AP) — A top White House official who has been with President Barack Obama since he first became a senator nine years ago is resigning.
Alyssa Mastromonaco is Obama’s deputy chief of staff for operations, often described as the most influential person inside the White House who is responsible for planning presidential events, hiring staff and overseeing the White House complex has decided to take a hike or a swim.
Many times when the seas get rough and a ship begins to take on water, many of its crew members want to get off while they can to save themselves. Lets face it, people are judged by the company they keep. Welllllllllllllll!
This is not the most popular time to be affiliated with the Mr. Obama whose ratings are in the bilges of the ship, rocking back and forth and going lower. In the most recent polls have dropped to an all-time low in high 30’s.
His popularity is beginning to resemble Chubby Checkers song The Limbo Rock “How low can you go”. It doesn’t look good.
It must be mandatory for all politicians to attend sadomasochistic class before they are elected because these people seem to thrive on pain and suffering. They cause themselves and others constant pain and keep going back for more.
Personally, if I make a grievous mistake, I try not to do a repeat performance. Not the politicians, they keep the same circus act going time after time. There can only be two conclusions; they are either stupid to stop making the same mistakes or they see nothing wrong in what they are doing. It is called narcissistic. This time I will take door #1 and door #2.
See if this applies to anyone you know in DC (District of Chumps)
Narcissistic definition:
- Expects to be recognized as superior and special, without superior accomplishments
- Expects constant attention, admiration and positive reinforcement from others
- Envies others and believes others envy him/her
- Is preoccupied with thoughts and fantasies of great success, enormous attractiveness, power, intelligence
- Lacks the ability to empathize with the feelings or desires of others
- Is arrogant in attitudes and behavior
- Has expectations of special treatment that are unrealistic
