Florida City may be wiped off map for having the distinction of being named  “most corrupt town in America”.

It is corruption at its finest for the crooked mayor and his crew in Hampton, Florida.

The least of the problems in the small city of Hampton, Fla. is that their mayor Barry Layne Moore who resigned Tuesday night was sent in jail on charges of selling Oxycontin. I guess he didn’t feel he wasn’t getting compensated or stealing enough from the city  to continue live the good life he is accustom to.

Now tell me , does this guy look like the run of the mill mayors or not. He looks like he just came off of skid row. He must have got elected by some of the same people that voted in our last national election.

I hate to see what some of the other residence of the city looking like if he is the best of the best.

There is a serious rumor going around that Mayor Barry  and the Mayor Rob of Toronto have aspirations  of teaming up and running in 2016 for the top spot in the nation.  Probably can’t do much worse.

Using their first names as Trademarks or calling cards; Rob is going to “rob” the people and Barry is going to “bury” the evidence. They are a very smart looking couple together.

As a result of the city’s past unsavory record of shaking down everyone they could,  state officials are actually threatening to a wipe Hampton off the State map and incorporating it with another bordering town.

What precipitated the shake up in the little town in Florida stems from a very short stretch of highway about 1500 feet along U.S. Highway 301 that generated $ 250,000.00 in revenue by entrapping speeders. The speed limit goes from 65 to 55 in a matter of a few feet.

It has been observed that most of Hampton’s 17 police officers were often seen on lawn chairs camped on the side of the highway with their trusty radar guns as well as being armed to the teeth high powered weapons like they were going into battle.

Not only did the city make a bundle on their speed trap, they also ripped off local convenient store for more than $132,350.

I would have thought that at some point the owner of the store would have cut off their credit until the bill was paid. $ 133,000.00 can buy  a lot of Thunderbird Wine and Camel non-filtered cigarettes.

To cover up their illegal spending the mayor and his troops destroyed all of the financial record. That is the only smart thing they did.

The good old boys of Hampton had a good thing going until they became greedy and wanted all of the pie instead of just a slice or two.
