Megachurch pastor Bob Coy resigns, citing ‘moral failing’

There has always been the question in the mind of many people; what is the most powerful thing in the world? It seems the answer to that question quite often is answered by peoples actions and it is what they find between the sheets.

Civilizations and empires have crumbled, wars have been fought, people murdered by the millions and entire societies have gone down the tubes, millions of homes have been broken up all in the name of Poon Tang.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida:

The senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale has resigned after confessing to cheating on his wife, according to WPLG Miami.

Pastor Bob Coy who had more than 20,000 followers has now resigned because he fell off the wagon when he  tip-toed through the tulips with one of his parishioners.

The sinning preacher stated that his unacceptable behavior of “moral failing will disqualifies him from continuing his leadership role at the church” forces him to resign his post as a spiritual leader.

It is doubtful if the preacher will miss any meals now that he is unemployed. He has been the pastor of his mega-church since 1985.  It can be concluded that through the years he has stuffed his pocket with a lot of dough from his admiring flock.

In a statement Coy made he was not coy about his getting “snatched” in committing a sin against god. He said he will now focus his full attention on his personal relationship with God and his family.

Preacher Coy really hit the bottom when all of his sponsors like  radio, television and digital media dumped him like a hot piece of Poon Tang.

If the preacher is ever down and out he can start over by preaching from on top of a soap box on a busy street corner with a tin cup in his hand. A monkey always draws a crowd too.
