Ore. officials drain reservoir after man urinates in it:

PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland water officials are discarding 38 million gallons of drinking water after a 19-year-old was caught urinating into one of the city’s reservoirs.

I always knew that some of the Oregonians were a little touched but to drain 38 million gallons of water because someone pissed in their reservoir is crazy. Don’t they know what chlorine is for? The water they drained is not what comes out of their faucets, it is treated first.

A security camera caught the man urinating at about 1 a.m. PT Wednesday through an iron fence into Mount Tabor Reservoir No. 5 in southeastern Portland, said Administrator David Shaff of the Portland Water Bureau. Minutes later, two other men, ages 18 and 19, attempted to scale the fence and one of them entered the reservoir.

The average bladder holds 16 ounces of liquid. Lets say Junior had a full bladder when he pissed in the reservoir. The water authority disposed of  4,864,000,000  (this is billion) ounces of water because some dummy pissed in 16 ounces into their water supply. Talk about a waste.

I can see the water authority being “pissed off” over the matter but to waste that much water is ass-in-9.

Three men were caught, cited for trespassing and prohibited from returning to Mount Tabor Park. The 19-year-old also was cited for public urination.

I bet if the “food cops” in Oregon checked out some of the eateries out there, they would certainly find more contamination in the chow than a little piss water. Meow

Better start draining all of the public swimming pools boys, they surely have a lot of yellow water in them.
