Disgrace: Phoenix VA Dumps Sick Veterans Into ‘Secret Waiting Lists,’ Some Die of Negligence:

Of all of the people in this country that should be at the front of the line wherever they go,  especially at sick bay, the Vets should get the finest treatment available as soon as they need it. These men and women have sacrificed their lives in the service of our country and what do they get in return; third world medical treatment, if that.

At least 40 U.S. veterans died waiting for appointments at the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care system, many of whom were placed on a secret waiting list. The secret list was part of an elaborate scheme designed by Veterans Affairs managers in Phoenix who were trying to hide that 1,400 to 1,600 sick veterans were forced to wait months to see a doctor.

This charade/criminal act was implemented by the officials’ that ran the VA hospital to make their numbers look good.  You know NUMBERS – RATINGS. Their bonuses were based on how many and how well they took care of their patients. By altering the lists of patients they attended to, they put their greed and bonuses before the health and well-fare of the sick and wounded warriors.

In so many instances where the government is involved in nefarious events there is never anyone held accountable. I hope that this situation is different.

I do not want to see some PFC (private first class) go to the brig for this, because they are usually just following orders. I would like to see the top dogs, the commanders, the people that make the big bucks swing for this and take full responsibility for lack of attention and treatment for our vets.

This situation was uncovered in Phoenix but I am sure if they dig deep enough there are a lot more veterans’ hospitals in the country that have similar parasitic cousins working there.

The way I see it, these culprits are some of the worst examples of human-being on this planet.

It should be their asses that are out in the combat zone getting hacked away, then we would see what kind of medical treatment they would be demanding.

Too often these situations are swept under the rug in an attempt to cover up the truth. Optimistically the people that are responsible for the lack of treatment and the deaths that were caused by their greedy, selfishness and negligence will be brought to trial and given the maximum penalty.

Without our fighting men and women protecting us we would be laying under one of Putin’s tank in the Ukraine.

I can’t wait to see what kind of accountability comes out in this one.
