Inside the dual canonization controversy:

John Paul II, John XXIII will be declared saints but rules have been waived, miracles have been questioned

I have no reservations about both popes as far as being good people, very religious and that dedicated their lives to the Catholic faith.

One major problem I have with all of them is, they were instrumental in covering up the pedophiles scandals with-in the church for years and turned a blind eye and deaf ear to it all.

I have always maintained that pedophiles’ are sick in the head and POSSIBLY were not able to control their sacrilegious temptations. Maybe?????

The popes, cardinals’, bishops and priest who knew about these atrocities perpetrated on the kids covered them up deliberately for the sake of the “almighty” dollar.

Who would you consider the biggest sinner, the people that couldn’t help themselves or the people that could?

I will take door # 2.

In my opinion Pope Francis is doing everything in his power to get the Catholic religion back to where it once was. I don’t think that will ever happen. There are too many wounds that will not heal and too much deception to forget about. I certainly wish this was not the situation.
