Joan Rivers won’t apologize to Ohio women over controversial joke:
A nun in Catholic school once told me “an empty barrels always make the loudest noise.”
That seems to be the case with “motor mouth” Jo-Ann Rivers when she made the off the wall comment about her living conditions in her daughters house. Jo-Ann said “Those women in the basement in Cleveland had more space.” The two funny ladies were promoting their reality series Joan and Melissa Knows Best.
She was making reference to the three girls from Cleveland that were held captive for 10 years by some sadistic maniac. Not a good subject to try and make a joke out of.
The funny lady with the bad plastic surgeon slid crossing home plate with her dialog and this time she got tagged out.
It is a very tough job being a comedian. Everyone expects the person to be funny every-time they open their mouth. Many times the joke doesn’t come out right and the smart ones will apologize for their mistakes. You did notice I said THE SMART ONES.
Jo-Ann, dummy, be a smart lady and show your humility this time, that is if you have any. No one got a kick out of the joke but you especially the girls from Cleveland.
They sure are some tough ladies. My hat is off to them.
