HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE GOOD MOTHERS

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE GOOD MOMS

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you fantastic ladies out there that put your children’s health, safety and well-being before your own.

It is not an easy job being a GOOD mother. It is probably one of the most challenging, most unappreciated and unrecognized tasks on the planet and many times goes noticed by your kids and that couch potato of an old man you have; that is if you have one of those things.

GOOD mothers put everyone in their immediate life first before they think of themselves.

The never ending life long scenario starts out with a lot of pain, suddenly a tremendous relief from the pain and a big scream coming from way down low and really never ends.

The tasks that a GOOD mother has on a daily basis and for what she does for her family in incalculable. If you dudes out there think your stay at home wife isn’t “worth her salt”, take a look.

Daily Finance

Anyone that thinks what a mom does on a daily basis is insignificant, check out these numbers. The cost of replacing mom as nurturer, nurse, cleaner and cook would run you $62,985 a year, up from $59,862 in 2013. Breaking down the price of having someone else handle her various duties:

• Cooking and cleaning, $12,230
• Child care, $21,736
• Homework help, $7,290
• Chauffeur, $5,672
• Shopping, yard work, party and activity planning, finances, etc., $15,019
• And my personal favorite, finding out what the kids are up to (paid in the equivalent value of a private detective), $1,036.

That is just what is on the surface. The physiological aspect of being a GOOD mom is even more challenging than all the tasks listed above.

Then the old man comes home from work (if he didn’t stop in the saloon before) and if he had a bad day at the office or in the ditch she has to put up with his nonsense. That should have a health price tag of its own attached. Add on another $150.00 a day

GOOD moms are on duty 24-7 trying to keep the ship afloat and make sure it stays on an even keel. If anyone thinks that a GOOD lady of the house doesn’t have a big load to carry, stop and pay attention. Maybe you will all appreciate her more.

On the MOTHER’S DAY 2014 I want to salute all the GOOD moms and wish them a happy mother’s day. See if the old man will do the dishes today. I doubt it.

I am sure you noticed that GOOD is in bold letters.  For all of you ladies out there that have taken the sometimes thankless task of bringing kids into this world but are fall short of your responsibilities, look around at the GOOD moms and take a few lesson from them. Happy Mothers Day to you as well.
