Positively un-American tax dodges:

Here we have a couple of different scenarios going on these days. 

Big-time companies are moving their “headquarters” overseas to dodge billions in taxes … that means the rest of us pay their share of taxes. It is labeled “inversion”. 

The way I see it is:

1. A company that has its primary working division located with-in the boundaries of the USA should not be allowed by law to move the headquarters overseas to avoid paying US taxes. Either move the entire operation overseas or be obligated to pay the going rates.

2. I don’t blame the companies for taking advantage of this “hand-out”. It is a loop hole that the government created so why shouldn’t these companies take advantage of it? They are not breaking the law, they are “working” the law. It is like some guy handing his kid $100,000,000.00 and the kid refusing it.

3. The US government should lower their tax structures to make it more attractive for companies to locate or keep their businesses here in the USA. If the USA was not involved in so many off the wall activities around the world that are “breaking the bank” there is no reason the country could not offer the lowest tax rates in the world and even attract foreign companies/investors. Let us not forget, this once was the wealthiest country in the world until we started sticking our nose everywhere it doesn’t belong.

The people that have run this country for years seem to forget that the reason the USA was once the “top dog” in the world is because of all of the industry in this country and the majority of all companies and people paid their fair share before getting wiped out by wars we don’t belong in, tax shelters and social programs that are sucking the blood for the coffers. America wasn’t built on tax proceeds from the lottery and casinos; many of which, because they are native American owned don’t pay taxes. 

The vast majority of the tax loop holes that are in place were written by same people who themselves, their friends and families have been the beneficiaries of these shelters.

Let us not forget that the people in DC approve their own pay raises and set limits on the perks; that is if you believe there are limits. They have completely lost touch with reality. 

This maneuver or tax shelter is called “inversion”. It is estimated that it will cost the US government in the neighborhood of 20 “the B word” a year because of this new shelter.

Is it possible that the USA could use another 20 billion a year to help bring our country back around? That is if the DC Duds didn’t misappropriate it or give it away to foreign country.

Tell me; what would an intelligent person would want for their country; all of the pie, a piece of the pie or none of the pie??? Again, the key word is intelligent. Quit bitching if you are the people that are making these shelters available. 

People in high place never could never seem to grasp the concept that money is saved 1 dollar at a time not by billions at a time. Dollars are easy to save if the right strategy is put into place; on the other hand if the focus is to save a billion at a time, that will never happen.

It appears to be an impossible task but if the USA is looking for resolutions, the leaders of our country have to go back to fundamentals and do what made our country strong in the first place.

I personally think that we are far beyond the point of no return and the USA is going to continue to spiral out of control. There is no-one in place that is willing to take the hard road back to recovery. They have all had it too good too long and will never turn back.

There are four factors that have been keeping America in the hole for years; lack of competent leadership, arrogance, greed and stupidity. This mess didn’t start with Obama but he isn’t helping the recovery process. 

Some of the answers in “turning it around” is not to clip social security and other benefits that hard working, honest, patriotic American people paid into for 50 years. These are the people that made the USA what it was. The solutions are to QUIT giving away money and resources to everyone around the world when the USA is in such bad shape, get people off of social programs that are illegally collecting, get all of the illegals out of the country. That is the tip of the iceberg. 

Finally but not final; shut off all of the tax loop holes so everyone pays their fair share of taxes (institute a flat tax) and make it attractive for companies to want to stay in this country by reducing their tax burden (do we want all of the pie or none of it); possibly attract foreign countries to locate here.

I have always maintained “do what you do best and do what got you to where you are”. 

These are not easy solutions but they are solutions. They can be implemented but none of the DC Duds want to cut their throats or their throats of their backers. Greed.

I often wonder if any of these thieves ever thought of what their younger kids, their grand-children and their off spring will have to deal with by the mess they have created. I really believe they don’t care.
