How is it possible that the Palestinians were able to construct such an elaborate tunnel system in, around and under Israel, right under their noses without being detected?

These tunnels are not some makeshift plywood lined walls and dirt floors like the Jose Gonzolis and company in Mexico dug to get their drugs into the USA. These are very sophisticated structures that took an immense amount of engineering and construction.

They have poured concrete walls, ceiling and floors and electricity. The depth of these tunnels are 50 – 70 feet underground and must have taken an enormous amount of manpower and time to dig them.

The best part is, Israel unknowingly supplied the electricity for their  enemies to do their tunneling.  The Palestinians tapped into some electrical lines that were supposed to be use for humanitarian purposes. So in essence, Israel helped pay for the construction of these tunnels.

The length of these tunnels are astonishing. They go for miles and miles under Gaza.
They were built for the purpose to enable the Palestinians to invade Israel undetected.

If any country/government would go through such extremes to construct anything of this magnitude, I would have to assume that it was on their books for many years and they truly mean business.

The ethnic/religious  situation in that part of the world can be compared to what is going on here in the USA only their conditions are tremendously multiplied.

The only way that there will ever be peace in that part of the world is for both sides to get their heads together; try to put what happened in the past behind them and start on a new course to peace.

In the same token, the only way “the racial thing” will ever be resolved in the USA is for all parties concerned to say; “by gones are by gones and let’s make it work”. The past can not be changed but the future can be hopeful.

The trouble with that type of wishful thinking is not in mankind’s DNA to be so civilized.

For the most part, what everyone one in the world is fighting about, these differences of opinion and abuses happened many years ago and the people that are involved in these conflicts were not even around at the time.

Then we have the rebel-rousers that are making billions from these conflicts and they do not want peace.

This is where all of the peace-loving/sensible people in this world should get together, charter as many ships as they need to accommodate all of these knuckle headed trouble makes, take the ships out in the ocean without life boats and sink the ships. They will never be missed.

Mankind is on its way to self-destruction if they do not do an about-face soon. Peace is possible if everyone works toward it.

The situations between Israel and the Palestinians is way beyond serious. I don’t see how their disparities can be resolved unless something miraculous happens. They are in a geographical area where biblical miracles supposed took place in the past, hopefully there can be some divine intervention and they put a stop to all the killing.

We supposedly are all brothers and sisters on this earth trying to do the best we can.

Remember the key word to peace is RESPECT.
