Too little too late

This time I will give Obama a check-mark for using airstrikes against the fanatical Islamist militants that are attempting to eradicate all of the Christians, Yazidis and all other religions in Iraq and for that matter, if they had their way, around the world.

These savages are nothing short of murderous, homicidal zealots that have no heart and no soul who are exacting their barbaric actions is the name of god.

These animals are slaughtering with impunity and performing the greatest insult to a human-being by beheading many of the victims, including women and children.

Using airstrikes to assist the Kurds in their battle against these savage the ISIS  is the right thing to do but I think it too little too late.

If we had to engage in a war from the beginning this is the way the war should have been fought, from the air with no boots on the ground. What is the purpose of having all of our very sophisticated weapons at our disposal if they are not used? This is war and not a game of tag in a school yard.

Unfortunately the extremists are never going to relent and will continue in their madmen attempt to snuff out all religions except their own.

There doesn’t seem to be any answer to this dilemma except for the entire world to ban together against these people and turn the tides on them. One country or one nation cannot carry the ball alone.

It seems that the people that have benefited the most from the actions the USA are taking  are the ones that are participating the least in their own defense.

What have we heard from the Saudi’s throughout all of the wars we got ourselves into? Nothing. We are over where we don’t and didn’t belong protecting their territory and receiving nothing in return.

If nothing else the USA should have been compensated for all of our efforts and losses from these oil rich countries.

The USA took very lengthy and costly pains taking steps to develop the Iraq Army into being self-sufficient and being able to fend for them-selves. What happened when the shit hit the fan, they dropped their arms and fled when they came in contact with their enemies some very seasoned combat ready troops that will not be stopped at any cost, human or otherwise.

This entire Middle East scenario will go down as one of the biggest military blunders in world history when the Chaney/Bush administration invaded Iraq for no legitimate reason at all except for “Tricky Dick” to achieve his own greedy personal ambitions and bamboozled Bush into doing so.

Iraq was a very content country for the most part when Saddam was in power. He had all of the dissidents’ elements under control and dealt with them in a language they understand.

Sooner or later but I fell only when the USA has gone past the point of no return, is our government going to realize that every country in this world does not have to dance to “our tune”. They have their lifestyles and customs they have been living by for thousands of years and the appeared to be very satisfied, or at least better off than they are today.

We (the USA) cannot be the watch dog for the world. I don’t see many other countries in “the joke” called NATO stepping up to the plate as the USA does in the time of crisis. Till this day I have not figured out what NATO’s function is all about but a bunch of politicians sitting around intercoursing the canine.

The intended purpose of this organization when it was formed in 1942 was for all the civilized countries to ban together to suppress injustices around the world and to help countries in the time of crisis. What started out as a supposed team effort ended up as one-man band going it alone.

I commend Obama for taking these action by air to try and rescue these people form ISIS but I think it is too little too late.

Looking back in history, the invasion of Iraq was the catalyst for all of the problems there are in the Middle East and has snow-balling out of control.

The world situation is just like this Tilt A Whirl; “round and round it goes, where it is going to stop nobody knows”. The entire world is all going around in circles, yelling and screaming but unlike the Tilt A Whirl everyone is going in a different direction.
