Yesterday a Highway Patrol cop Ron Johnson held a press conference to try and get the City of Ferguson, MO. back to a civilized place to live after the riots and looting following the killing of a 18 year kid by city cop.
I was so impressed in his sincerity I think Officer Johnson should be the “poster cop” for all cops in the country because of the professionalism in how he presented himself. His speech was simply outstanding.
He is a shining role model of what a cop should stand for and an example of a leader in the black community.
All of the points he brought out were valid and should have influenced all of the residence of Ferguson that rioting and looting was not the answer to resolving their problem. One of his major points was “this is not about black and white”. Statements like this are rarely heard by leaders in the black community.
His efforts were not good enough for some of the “professional looters” as the rioting and looting resurfaced last night.
BREAKING: FERGUSON ERUPTS! Looting, Shots Fired, Rioting – MASS CHAOS!! (Video)

The looters and rioters are 4th class poor excuses for a human being that pillage and destroy establishments in their own neighborhood as a means of retaliation. Who are they really hurting but themselves and the people in the community.
Last night it was observed that along with some of the locals most of rebel-rousers were outsiders that showed up purposely to riot and loot.
There are strict laws on the books that allows store owners or the authorities to shoot looters on site but that would have only add gasoline to an already out of control fire.
The authorities just stood by and watched these criminals and thieves “do their thing”.
As of yet the explicit details of the killing of Michael Brown has not been completely explained.
What has been let out by the authorities so far is that Brown was involved in a strong arm robbery of a store prior to him being confronted by the cop that killed him. Brown being stopped by the cop had nothing to do with the robbery; just a coincident.
Brown and his rappie were walking down the middle of the street when they were stopped by the cop for obstructing traffic. An altercation ensued between the three of them when Brown assaulted the officer and tried to take the cops gun away from him. During a struggle for the gun one shot was fired in the car followed by other gunshots outside of the car.
According to witnesses Brown was walking away from the cop with his hands in the air when he was shot. This point has not yet been substantiated. IF in fact that can be proven I would say the cop was wrong and should be held accountable.
Unfortunate situations like this only deepen the already strained race relations in this country. Possibly in many generations to come through interracial connections, when there is only one race between black and white, only then may there be a resolution to race relations here in the USA.
Highway Patrol officer Ron Johnson should be highly commended for his role in trying to keep peace in that war torn city. Policemen like Johnson are far and few between.
Possibly some of the “fence riders” in the black community who only show up when there is a problem should follow the example of officer Johnson and try to calm situations instead of igniting them further for their personal gains.
