Judge – Jury & executioner:
Black female Missouri Democratic senator predicts new wave of Ferguson unrest if no conviction in officer’s case:
This instigating senator from Missouri predicts that if there isn’t a conviction of the cop that shot and killed Michael Brown there are going to be severe repercussions.
Maria Chappelle-Nadal, a state senator in Missouri, has aggressively criticized Gov. Jay Nixon and local police over the law enforcement response in Ferguson as she’s joined protesters on a daily basis and she may be right.
She took her criticism a step further on Friday when she suggested that the unrest in Ferguson depends on whether there is an indictment, and a conviction, in the case. If that is not intimidation and BLACKMAIL I don’t what is.
“There’s several people out there including the protesters that I’ve been with this morning who seem to feel as though there won’t be a conviction,” she told Fox News.
“If that happens, we’re going to have exactly what you saw two weeks ago, with a lot of tear gas going all over the place.”
This looks to me people like the senator has it pegged as another OJ trial. If the black community is not satisfied with the verdict in a trial, if there is a trial, there will be riots and looting, possibly more killings as a payback. That is the only reason OJ walked free.
I am not saying the cop that shot Brown is guilty or innocent; I am saying it is up to the law to determine that fact and hopefully it is a fair verdict for all parties concerned.
If the verdict goes against Brown and the cop is found not guilty there are bound to be riots because of people like the senator . That is all the black community needs is another rebel-rousers in their midst to keep their people pissed off.
I believe that the cop that shot Brown should be relieved of duty, possibly put under house arrest until this matter is settled.
I can understand the frustration of the black community because of the varying circumstances surrounding this incident. Did Brown have his hands in the air – was he backing up when he was shot – why was he shot 6 times?
The fact that a 6’4 – 300 pounder was beating on a cop while resisting arrest should be a factor. The real clincher to all the questions is going to come down to; was the cops life in danger at the time he shot Brown? If not he was wrong.
Under similar circumstances people of any race would have the right to want justice for their kid.
Is what this antagonistic senator suggests a threat or a promise? We can make a comparison to this LADY’S threats to Jess Jackson when in 1998 he strong armed/pressured/threatened/BLACKMAILED Budweiser. If they didn’t give his kid a distributorship in Chicago he was going to have the black community boycott their company.
Webster:
-
1.the action, treated as a criminal offense, of demanding money from a person in return for not revealing compromising or injurious information about that person.
Anyone else but Jackson that would have BLACKMAILED Budweiser would have been brought up on charges and sent to prison.
As a consequence to Jackson’s BLACKMAIL Budweiser handpicked Yusef Jackson, then 28, to be the majority owner of a lucrative Budweiser distributorship on Chicago’s North and Northwest Sides, making him one of the youngest such owners in the country. How about them apples.
Personally, I think Budweiser was very foolish capitulating and should have bought Jackson’s “wolf tickets” letting the cards fall where they may. They should have recorded Jackson’s threats and then pressed charges against him.
These power-mongers like Revs Jackson walk around with an invisible halo on their heads but are some of the most devious people around using their “race cards” to intimidate and shake down people. When is the last time he and his other cronies had a real job?
Their people don’t really understand that they are the real victims of these charlatans who are making a very good living off of their backs.
