It looks to me like these prominent and honorable black men who are looking out for the well-being of their own people must be reading the Goomba Gazette by stressing education over violence or at least share the same values I do. Probably # 2.
Dr. Ben Carson and Jason Riley are definitely in the minority of the black people that actually see or will admit to the deplorable conditions as they truly exist in the black community. The vast majority of the problems the black community have come from with-in their own ranks. Listen to the video.
I am positive that these two very intelligent men will be ostracized by their own people for speaking out about the plight in the black community and addressing the truth the way it should be.
Dr. Carson has even made reference to Eric Holder and the prejudice manner he conducts his office.
Education of the people is the only way that there will ever be any progress made whether it exists in the black, white or any community.
Holder continues to expound on how the “American are cowards and do now want to address the racial issue.” If he had his “own people’s” well-being at heart he would lay it on the table, tell it like it is, initiate educational programs that hopefully in 20 – 30 years will turn this whole racial issues around and give up the “what happened in the past” rhetoric. The past can’t be changed but the future can be mapped out.
The blame game is about played out. Even Mr. Obama in a recent speech he gave to some young black kids said, (not verbatim) it is time for them to take responsibility on their own and quit blaming others for their mistakes.
Unless something drastic happens to bring all sides together in an orderly and educated manner, I don’t ever see racial harmony between races. The agitators and parasites like Sharpton and Jackson out numbered by people like Cosby, Carson and Riley that see the big picture and give constructive critism but very few are listening.
