Oscar Pistorius Did Not Intentionally Kill Girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, Judge Rules:
THE ENVELOPE PLEASE:
Rip – tear – open. Everyone in the gallery is sitting on the edge of their seat and holding their breath in anticipation of the announcement.
Judge Misipa; “and the Oscar for the best performance in a deliberate murder goes to Oscar Pistorius, Blade Runner extraordinaire; he is not guilty of premeditated murder”.
The judge does think that Oscar is guilty of killing his girlfriend but not premeditated murder.
I have to give it to the guy, he put on one hell of a performance. It sure paid off for him.
He got extra points for the snots running out of his nose. That is not any easy thing to fake. Must have sniffed some black pepper before he entered the court room.
Bottom left picture; there was a leak in the court rooms ceiling and Oscar was trying to keep his wig dry.
The picture on the bottom right; he is smiling in response to one of his friends telling him he is doing a great job, keep it up “you have the judge on the ropes, more snots, more snots”.
Oscar dodged one bullet but now he is sweating the judge’s final decision.
I think the judge may have it partially right. Oscar probably did not commit premeditated murder. I do believe that Oscar did shoot through the bathroom door in a fit of rage and that would be considered culpable homicide in South Africa or as us Yankees call it manslaughter.
Oscar’s statement outside the court room was; “First of all I would like to thank my acting coaches, they did a fantastic job of training me for this event, my agents/ambulance chaser, all of my gullible friends and family and last but not least Judge Masipa for all of her wisdom. Without her I would not gotten away with premeditated murder.”
If the judge does find Oscar guilty of culpable murder he can get as much as 15 years in prison. Because of the stunning performances he has put on throughout the trial, some expect the sentence to be a lot lighter.
I think his celebrity and the fact that Oscar is disabled has a lot to do with the courts decision.
