NFL Chief Roger Goodell after Scandals: ‘Now, I Will Get It Right’
Tell me that the NFL isn’t “pumped up” if they can afford to pay their top Honcho 44.2 million a year! That is some piece of change. He better get something “right” making that kind of soldi.
Comedians like Goodell aren’t bullshitting anyone. If there was not so much public outcry over these pampered athletes beating their wives and girlfriends, it would have been business as usual; swept under the astro-turf as it has been for years.
There is too much money at stake and team status to discipline these out of control characters. Some of these prima-donnas’ have literally gotten away with murder in some instances because they are such valuable players to the team and they can afford to hire the best ambulance chaser in the country.
It cost “The Juice” millions to neat his rap and he was a guilty as sin. “If it don’t fit you must acquit.” What a mockery of justice.
I almost pissed in my pants laughing when I saw the performance that the killer was putting on trying to put on that shrunken glove that they wet and dried out in a stove.
If you believe in Karma, the Juice now has brain cancer. That is a hell of a payback. I know a lot of people are celebrating that bit of news.
We see it every day in the news not only in the USA but in other countries like South Africa where “The Blade Runner” got away with a 1st degree murder because he is a national hero.
Oscar put on an Oscar winning performance and his lady judge must have not been in the same court room everyone else was to come up with a verdict as she did. .
There are always a different set of rules for “the haves’ and the have nots’.” Money talks and bull-shit walks. That is the way it was and that is the way it will always be.
Off of the main subject for a minute. I never begrudged anyone making a big buck; more power to them but what the hell does Mr. Goodell do for that 44.2 million a year? That equates out to $ 850,000.00 a week. If Roger works a 40 hour week, this dude makes 21,250.00 and hour. If he works an 80 hour week which I seriously doubt, he makes $10,625.00 an hour.
I wonder if the “die-hard fans” ever consider who is paying the salaries for people like Goodell and La-Bron James? Just in case you haven’t figured it out sports fans, you are the salamis’ that are keeping these guy in Bentleys’. I know the truth hurts. I would make them starve for a couple of years to get them back to reality.
Getting back to these “babe bouncing bozzos”. Now that the spotlight is on them as well as all the cameras in the world, yes even in elevators, they better start behaving and treating their ladies like ladies.
There seems to be a particular epidemic of black athletes that are on rampages with the people that are supposed to be close to them; their wives, kids and their squeezes.
These are big strong men that can really put a hurtin’ on someone if they get pissed off and let loose on them.
I have been espousing for years the need for education in all walks of life and bending a tree when it is young if there is ever going to be change in this unacceptable behavior.
The only way these dudes and others like them will get this message is through EDUCATION. Someone has to teach them that this is not 1940 anymore when violence like this was tolerated. EDUCATION is the major key to a decent, successful and productive life.
I am not singling out the black athletes but the records do show that they have more of a propensity toward violence with their significant others and members of their families than any other race.
If someone wants to stick their heads in the sand and pretend this type of behavior doesn’t exist, they are only fooling themselves.
Without exception; the only way for any race, white, black, yellow or green to turn themselves around is to admit to themselves that they have a problem. If they are not willing to do that, shame on them and pity the people that have to live with them.
EDUCATION should be the name of their new game.
Mr. Goodell can come up with all of the rules and regulations he wants to but if these players and other like them are not EDUCATED properly, he will be just shoveling shit in the wind.
Lets face it. Most of the kids in this country idolize these sports figures and they want to emulate them. If the players begin setting a good example, possibly it will make a difference in some kids lives.
