Illinois Teen Charged With Trying to Travel to Mideast to Join ISIS:

This traitor should be charged with treason and an example should be made out of him.

A 19-year-old Illinois man was charged Monday with a terrorism-related offense for allegedly trying to join ISIS in its battle to carve out an Islamic caliphate in Iraq and Syria. Authorities said Mohammed Hamzah Khan of the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook was arrested Saturday at O’Hare International Airport as he waited to board a flight to Vienna. From there, he intended to fly to Istanbul, Turkey, and then make his way into Syria or Iraq to fight for ISIS.

Some of these home-grown terrorists must think they are playing a game of strip poker with the girl next door and really don’t understand the severity of what they are doing.

Many of them are the rejects of society that are looking for a purpose but looking in the wrong places. They want to get “even” with the bullies that have shunned them and presume they can do that by becoming a terrorist.

Under common law, punishment for treason generally included drawing, hanging, beheading, and quartering. As with other crimes carrying sentence of death, those adjudged guilty of treason and finally sentenced were considered attaint, or stained, meaning dead in the eyes of the law—even before execution. Once attainder was established, the attainted forfeited his real estate to the Crown—a requirement symbolizing lack of entitlement to the benefits of society.

If the USA starts imposing the most severe penalty from the beginning; hopefully many of these “part-time terrorists” may get the message. Needless to sat it will never happen.

They will be sent to trial, found guilty, sentenced to death, put in prison, have 20 years of appeals given to them, they will sue the government for false imprisonment and live out the rest of their lives in an air-conditions cell with a wide screen TV.

I left out;  their ambulance chasers will make millions of the taxpayers money on the appeals.
