Obama advisers appear at odds over US troop role, as ISIS holds ground:
Initially I was the first one that wanted all of the USA’s troops around the world back home and I will stand behind not putting them where they don’t belong but the game has changed dramatically.
In this very complex and dangerous world we live in and we have to be flexible.
In 2013 a terrorists group named ISIS popped up and their presents in the world basically went unnoticed or unpublicized for quite some time.
It appears that the government around the world knew about them but were not paying too much attention; like a fly in the room that is a nuisance. It just so happens that this fly in the room has turned into a pterosaur!
Now the world needs more than a fly swatter to get rid of this threat and sad to say; I do agree that eventually there will be a necessity for having “boots on the ground” in order to complete the extermination mission.
I still will stand by my previous statements that ALL of the countries in the world should ban together and contribute to the eliminating of these terrorist; if not militarily, in the very least monetarily. These people are a threat to the world and it should be a world-wide under-taking to bring them to the under-taker.
Aerial assaults can do 75-80% of the job but the other 20-25% need to be mopped up by combat troops.
This is one of the most serious threats to the world and should be treated like it.
Let me give the big wig puppeteers a little advice. Quit broadcasting what the hell your next move is or isn’t. That is total stupidity. You don’t EVER tell your enemy that tomorrow you are going to be at their house to kick their ass. It gives them time to prepare.
Who in the hell is running that operation anyway? I will guarantee one thing; they have no military experience and should be taken totally out of the equation. If Obama has the final say-so he should be smart enough to take some advice from those who have been there and back off.
Remember how successful the Japanese were at Pearl Harbor. Let history be your teacher.
Keep the media and politicians out of the wars and let the seasoned generals do their thing. This one is for keeps.
