KFC goes even bigger on its updated Double Down sandwich:
KFC just put another nail in it’s consumers coffins.
Kentucky Fried Chicken or more commonly known by the acronym KFC recently came up with The Zinger Double Down King; a hamburger topped with bacon, barbecue sauce and pepper dressing sandwiched between two pieces of fried chicken, on a bun. This baby will Zinger you cholesterol count right through the roof.
Way back when, the company tried to distance itself from its roots that were started by Colonel Sanders who name the company Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Reason being, they wanted to get away from the “FRIED” associated with the brand name. It was a feeble camouflaged attempt on their part to make the public think they were going “healthy.”
Their recipe for the once most famous chicken in the country did not change one iota, just the name did but the grease stayed. I have to say I loved it.
Recently KFC (Keep Finding Changes) came out with the Double Down Zinger sandwich to try and stay in step with The Golden Arches and Burger King. In the process of this tug of war between the “Kings of Kholesterol” it doesn’t appear that any of them have any regard for the health of their customers, all they are concerned with is the bottom line just like every other big company.
KFC Double Down Zinger has 750 calories
Mickey D’s Bacon Clubhouse Crispy Chicken Sandwich 10 oz. has 750 calories
The reason Burger King is called the “KING” is because their Double Whopper w/Cheese Sandwich really packs on the lbs. with 1010 calories per sandwich
These “massive morsels” are very tempting to the public and extremely hard to resist. They are one of the reason why the American people are the most obese people on the planet.
I especially like this shot. Good thing her belly is covering her other thing. Take notice of the smile on the lady’s face; she is absolutely content.
I bet the Colonel would have had a stroke if he could see what his company evolved into. When the old boy first started in business there really wasn’t any concern about calorie counting or fat consumption.
Just like the tobacco companies, there was never any apprehension over smoking 50 years ago. Even doctors advertised the cancer sticks.
Today is a new day and age where the companies who control the industries that serve the public should be more considerate about their health and welfare. Health and welfare to these companies are swear words they shy away from because they do not make their bottom lines profitable.
Keep making them bigger, greasier and less healthy boys; I am sure that the waiting lines at your “choke and pukes” will substantial increase in length.
I just might try a “Double Downer’ to see what it tastes like. I will tell them to hold the mayo and cheese, I am trying to watch.
