It is about time that SOME of the people in the USA have begun to acknowledge the sacrifices that all military personal, present and past have made for this country and they are finally given the respect they deserve.

Without the veterans unselfish service, loyalty and patriotism to their country the citizens of the USA would not be able to enjoy the freedoms they have.  We all might be eating with chop sticks now.

I still strongly believe that it should be mandatory that all the citizens in the USA be compelled to serve at least two years in the military; men and women alike. It may help out all of the dysfunctional kids that are “trying to find themselves.” 

There are many different “occupations” in the military that can be performed; so being a conscious objector or any lame excuse these freeloaders come up with not wanting to serve doesn’t cut it with me.

Everyone wants to reap the benefits of living in the USA but many do not want to do their part.

Military training and discipline is one of the most significant tools to help guide many of the young kids that can’t find their way.

“Very few serve but everyone comes to the table when the food is put out. “

Semper Fi to all the military people who have served their country with honor and dignity.

Hopefully there will be peace in the world someday so the men and women in this world do not have to sacrifice their lives or limbs. Unfortunately at this time it doesn’t look hopeful.

I know that the words “God Bless America” is taboo with some of the ultra-liberal, PC, tree-huggers but so be it.
