Telling like it is can spell trouble

GOP aide resigns after online digs at Obama daughters:

Since when is telling it like it is a capitol sin? As the old Italian saying goes ‘ if the scarps fit, put them on.” In this case silence would have been golden.

Republican congressional aide Elizabeth Lauten resigned Monday morning after making controversial comments about President Obama’s teenage daughters, Fox News confirms.

Once again Facebook has put someones neck on the chopping block. Liz Lauten a GOP aide, posted a comment on “the most dangerous website on the internet” (Facebook) that the Obama girls dressed some what inappropriately for a dinner at last week’s annual White House turkey pardon. She wrote that Sasha, 13, and Malia, 16, should “try showing a little class.”

aaaaaa

“Rise to the occasion. Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at the bar,” Lauten wrote. “And certainly don’t make faces during televised, public events.”

I guess Liz never heard the old saying “love me love my dog” or something like that. Liz should have known that badmouthing Mr. O’s daughters would have some backlash connected to it.

In my opinion I don’t think that Liz used very good judgement. Every good father should be protective of their kids especially their daughters. I guess the old girl never heard this old saying either; “never bite the hand that feeds you!”
