Barkley Talks Race, Ferguson, and ‘Sad Cast of Characters’ Like Sharpton:
It takes a strong man of quality character and with high moral convictions like Charles Barkley to publicly make statements as he did recently; including the one he made yesterday about the Ferguson decision in the Michael Brown case.
In an interview Barkley told Brooke Baldwin that he completely stands by calling rioters and looters “scumbags” because “when you’re looting people’s property, that’s what you are.” Baldwin asked if any of this would be happening if the officer was black. Barkley said no way.
Let’s put the cards on the table. There are some severe problems in the black communities and reacting to circumstance or decisions that are not favorable to them by burning and looting is definitely 10 steps in the wrong direction.
Barkley has the balls to stand up and be recognized and tells it like it is.
There is absolutely no reason why people like Albert Sharpless have any business going to the hot zone and creating more violence than they have already by agitating the people there. I don’t know how this dude can sleep at night knowing he is his people worst enemy? $$$$$$$$$$$$$
It is of the utmost urgency for more prominent black people to come out of the shells and take a stand by teaching their people rioting and burning is very counterproductive to their causes. EDUCATION!!
It has been proven time after time that civil disobedience is not the road to justice.
My hat is off to Charles. Hopefully he came convince some of his reluctant friends to get involved in a very important cause.
It is always a tough road being upfront and bucking the system when a person thinks is the right thing to do.
All of the rioters should chip in and buy Sharpless a one way ticket to back where he came from or to Cuba.
