Talk about getting on the travelers gouging bad-wagon like the airlines did.

The hotel giants Marriott and Hilton obviously don’t make enough money (get the crying towel out). They just stepped it up a little into the screw the tourists game by charging anyone that cancels a reservation within 24 hours of arrival a full night’s fee for the room.

Maybe someday all of the people that put these greedy companies on the map by patronizing them will start boycotting their services and show them what it is like to be on the receiving end of the Vaseline jar.

There are a couple of old saying I like that are very apropos to these situations; don’t bite the hand that feeds you and I don’t mind getting screwed but I would like to get kissed a little. 

These high flying financial rapists seem to have forgotten that relationships and customer care is what builds and keeps businesses intact. Many of them have forgotten that their customers are the ones that put them in business.

Travelers beware; next comes extra charges for towel, soap, clean sheets are extra, vacuum more than one a week optional (naturally there will be an additional fee) and they may even figure out a way to put a meter on the shower head to charge for water overages.

Greed is probably one of the most uncomplimentary characteristics a person or a company can have. It seems to have become an epidemic in big business.

It has always amazed me that the vast majority of people are just like sheep, they will go anywhere the leader takes them, including jumping off of a cliff.

Gotta boycott folks, that is the only way to be heard.  When the cash register stops ringing then their ears and eyes will open up.
