This is one hell of a condo that has been dubbed the Crown Jewel of Chicago.

This luxurious pad was purchased by Sanjay Shah, founder and CEO of Vistex, Inc. in the Trump Palace for 17 million dollars. Shah figures he got it at a bargain basement price. It was on the market two years ago for 32 million. Quite a discount.

The penthouse is just a bare shell at the moment, consists of 14,000 square feet of concrete floors and drywall. It is equipped with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

It is just the most beautiful view the 360-degree view of the city, with 16-foot-high floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. The Shah’s wife, Hemali Shah whom I expect would be very used to high fashion living said she likes the view.

The real absurdity of spending that kind of money is bad enough but the Shah who owns multiple residence around the world does not expect to live in the condo but is keeping for his out of town clients.
