WASHINGTON – President Obama on Thursday proposed making community college free for all Americans who are “willing to work for it,” though the administration has not revealed the price tag or how exactly it would be paid for. Key words are: willing to work for it and don’t know exactly how to pay for it.

Obama proposes free community college program, cost details unclear:
The last three words in the header tells it all: cost details unclear. What is new? It is taxpayers money so why develop a game plan?
I was going to ask a stupid question. Where is Obama getting all of the money to fund these personal pipedreams of his and does this pet project just happen to include all illegals? Then I forgot that he has a bunch of printing presses at his disposal. Must be nice.
Willing to work for it. Did any parent in this country ever ask their kids to do a chore or to get a job? You probably know where I am going.
Mr. O posted his announcement on his Facebook account during a trip to Tennessee Friday. He wants to provide free community college for two years, by covering enough tuition to get students who keep their grades up an associate’s degree or halfway to a bachelor’s.
This question is one of many; who will be monitoring the grades? Probably hire a free tuition czar and a brigade of at least 10 – 15 thousand scrutinizers to watch the store. Another billion or so but who’s counting?
“It’s not for kids,” Obama said. “We also have to make sure that everybody has the opportunity to constantly train themselves for better jobs, better wages and better benefits.” I think the concept is good and maybe well intended but that is not the way it works.
How many young people have graduating from college these days and have had to resort to working at the Golden Arches for minimum wage? Our challenges in this country are not one fold and it should not include blowing money we don’t have.
This is a brilliant note: On a conference call with reporters, however, administration officials were vague on the details. The funding details would come out later with the president’s budget. Here we go slamming that printing press again.
This brainstorm is supposed to assist about 9 million students that can potentially save an average of $3,800 in tuition per year. Their students save it and the government spends it.
I don’t know if any of the game changers in DC ever thought to bust out their calculators before putting this in motion. It fantasy of theirs equates to $34,200,000,000.00 per year. Get more ink, we are going to need it.
Now we have to bear in mind; this is a government run operation that ALWAYS exceeds it’s initial costs by at least double if not four times the amount of the estimate, providing there is an estimate.
Those are some serious figures for a country that is 18 trillion dollars in debt and shooting up faster than the French guy on his rocket bike.

Why is it that no one in DC ever tries to figure out how to save money, all they do is conjure up exotic hair brain schemes on how to squander more.
What should be the most important government agency to keep alive and well funded? Just in case people are living under a rock, it is the military. I am sure the military could use 33 billion a year.
If it wasn’t for our military we would be eating wonton soup with wooden chopsticks. What are the DC Dudes doing to our military, they are cutting it every way they can and essentially weakening the security of our country.
Look what is going on all around us and ask yourself if we should be cutting what is keeping our country safe.
When god passed out the word brains the dudes in DC all thought he said trains and they all missed it the 5 o’clock special.
Words of wisdom from the mouth of one of America’s superior role models.
Heaven help us because our government certainly isn’t!
