Contractor Admits to Bribing Navy Officials With Prostitutes, Alcohol, Cuban Cigars:

Sounds to me like Lenny really knows how to treat his customers. Hookers – booze – Castro’s best cigars; it is just like dying and going to heaven; that if it was legitimate.

A defense contractor Leonard Francis, who is the central figure in a wide-ranging Navy bribery scandal pleaded guilty on Thursday to providing cash, prostitutes, free hotel rooms and gifts worth millions of dollars to gain maintenance and supply contracts in Asian ports that overbilled the Navy by $20 million. Over billed 20 million dollars; there had to be someone signing off on the invoices.

That was some expensive poon tang and stogies Lenny (AKA Fat Leonard) Francis was dishing out to his crooked associates. If Lenny would not have gotten his out getting his tit in the wringer he would have been millions ahead. Now the old boy is up shits creek without  a paddle standing tall in front of the guy holding the wooden hammer in his hand.

Lenny was given inside information on his competitors by some high ranking Swabbies so he could adjust his bids accordingly.

At trial Francis admitted that he gave millions of dollars in extravagant gifts and expenses to Navy officials including $500,000 in cash; hundreds of thousands of dollars in prostitution services; travel expenses, including first class airfare, luxurious hotel stays and spa treatments. He also provided officials with lavish meals, including Kobe beef, Spanish suckling pigs, Cuban cigars, designer handbags and even tickets to a Lady Gaga concert.

Francis could face up to 25 years in prison in April when he is sentenced. In admitting his guilt he and his company agreed to repay the Navy $35 million. If he stole 100 million he is 65 million ahead. He may be too old to spend the remainder of the loot by the time they unlock the gates.

Who knows; if Fat Lenny is lucky at his sentencing the judge may need a few items; you know, the American way.

One of the major problems with these backdoor deals; someone in the mix always gets pissed off that the other guy got more than he did and the proverbial whistle is blown. The key word is blown.
