What changed since the verdict except a lot of politics, backdoor dealing and a truck load of green backs?

Situations like this just fortifies the fact that money can buy can and does buy anything.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Penn State’s football team is getting back 112 wins wiped out during the Jerry Sandusky molestation scandal and the late Joe Paterno has been restored as the winningest coach in major college football history.

The NCAA announced the new settlement with the school weeks before a scheduled trial on the legality of the 2012 consent decree it will replace.

The new deal also directs a $60 million fine to address child abuse be spent within Pennsylvania and resolves that lawsuit. New deal being the key words. Sixty million dollars to Penn State is like a kid pissing in the ocean; no one even notices.

At the time, when this degenerate pervert was found out, it really surprised me that a guy who had the upbringing and the moral fiber that Paterno was supposed to have, could he had any association with Sandusky at all. It was reported that Joe was informed of the molestations long before they were made public.

The officials at Penn State should hang their heads in shame for what they ignored and the people at the NCAA should hold hands with them for reversing their decision.

“While others will focus on the return of wins, our top priority is on protecting, educating and nurturing young people,” said Harris Pastides, University of South Carolina president and member of the NCAA board.

What a hypocrite Pastides is. If this is the case than their reversal was totally out of line. This reversal just sends messages to everyone; if they have enough soldi, some high prices ambulances chasers and wait long enough they can do anything they want.

The sad events like what happened at Penn State should never be erased in the minds or record books. If the school didn’t know about it and didn’t cover it up that would be an entirely different football game.

Just like in the Catholic church; the people, all the way to the top, that covered up the molestations that took place over decades are worse than the perpetrators. The argument can be made that the sickos are mentally disturbed while the guys with the blankets are totally sane and covered up for the almighty dollar.

All the money in the world can’t erase what Sandusky did to all of those kids. If you remember, this scumbag even adopted a kid so he could have easy access to molest him. Solid citizen; huh?

I wonder if Penn State saved the statue of Pa Pa Joe they removed and are going to put it up again?
