Doomsday Clock moved two minutes closer to midnight 01:20

If any of you Goomba Gazetters are on the pessimistic side and believe all the hype of these mad scientists, better go out tonight and get a good steak dinner; maybe make it surf and turf. I hate to see you cash in with an empty stomach.

The world is closer to doomsday.

That’s the message from the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, which moved its iconic Doomsday Clock up two minutes on Thursday. The clock now stands at three minutes to midnight, the “latest” it’s been since 1984, when the Cold War between the U.S. and Soviet Union was a major issue.

These prognosticators are like weathermen that can’t tell you what is going to happen next week let alone 6 months or a year from now.

There have been so many crackpot doomsday predictions in the past where the dummies took their own lives it is scary.

One of the more well-known ones was Heaven’s Gate. It was an American a UFO fanatical group based led by a couple of  certified nut cases named Marshall Applewhite and Bonnie Nettles.

On March 26, 1997, police discovered the bodies of 39 members of the group who had committed mass suicide in order to reach what they believed was an alien space craft. They were all found fully clothed and neatly in their beds waiting for their alien transportation.

Hello!! Needless to say, as history tells the tale, their spacecraft never came. 

Applegate and his wacko accomplice Bonnie Boobs were awarded the stupid award posthumously years later for their hair brain prediction that cost 37 other dummies their life.

To put this all into prospective; if you are one of those believers, make sure you and your squeeze to get out tonight and get a surf and turn tonight. Make the steak temperature medium rare; well-done ruins the taste of a good steak.
