NJ teens blocked from shoveling snow without permit:
Give it a rest Christie.
We always talk about how lazy kids are today and for the most part the observation is correct; except for two young men in the Garden State that were stopped for shoveling snow because of all things; they did not have a permit. Has government gone completely nuts??
Two energetic entrepreneurial teens Matt Molinari and Eric Schnepf, both 18-year-olds from Bound Brook, N.J., were going door-to-door in their neighborhood handing out homemade flyers that offered snow-shoveling services. Their campaign were interrupted by the authorities because they did not have a soliciting permit. Absolute stupidity on the laws part.
We all know what the soliciting permits are intended for, to keep residents from being harassed but this is an entirely different scenario.
I am sure that there would be a lot of people, especially the elderly that would welcome the shoveling services of these two young men.
I wonder what the penalty for shoveling without a permit is; about 20 to life???
The next thing that will probably happen, the city will have the IRS investigate them for possible income tax evasion.
Lighten up people. Start using some commonsense.
