I hope Brian Williams put a few shackles in the bank. The NBC (Not Been Creditable) anchor is suspended for 6 months without pay.

I have always maintained that a bull-shitter has to be good at the lies they tell and most importantly have a very good memory.

If a person is telling the truth, every time they tell the story, no matter how much time elapsed, the story always comes out the same. On the other side of the coin, a bull-shitter has to remember what lie they  told and hopefully when they repeat it they related it the same way.

Everyone wants to feel important, get a little sunshine in their lives and maybe a pat on the head but they have to be reasonable if they are going to embellish their TAIL.

Now if Williams would have said that the RPG attack was too close for comfort, the story would have been a half truth and partially correct. No foul.

While the media is doing a Sherlock Holmes on one of their own (they love to stomping a guy from another network when he is down) it has been discovered that Williams may be exaggerating another tall tale.

         
In a 2005 interview with Esquire magazine, Williams said a thief drew on him in the 1970s — leaving him “looking up at a thug’s snub-nosed .38 while selling Christmas trees out of the back of a truck.”

We had a family member years back that was a very nice person but every time we saw him, either the cops were chasing him and he got away or he just had a fight and beat up six guys. The poor guy just wanted some attention.

Only difference between my friend and Williams, my friend was not a well-respected news anchor for a major TV network.

It is going to be very difficult for Williams to overcome this one. If he was selling used cars in LA possibly he would be forgiven in time because used car salesmen are supposed to bull-shit but in this position where honesty is paramount I don’t think he will make a comeback.

This has to be very difficult for Willams to take on the chin both in the legitimacy department and in his bank account. As of yesterday he WAS making 13 million a year.

I wonder how his replacement Lester Holts would vote if he was asked about reinstating Williams??

I hope Lester didn’t tell someone that the house behind him almost hit him when it collapsed.
