She forgot to run him over

What does someone have to do in this country to get the death penalty?

A judge has declared a mistrial in the Jodi Arias sentencing retrial after jurors deadlocked on whether the convicted murderer should be executed or sent to prison for life.

On June 4, 2008, salesman Travis Alexander was murdered in his house in Mesa, Arizona by his ex-girlfriend Jodi Arias. This vicious broad wanted to make sure that her ex was not going to survive her attack. She stabbed him repeatedly, slit his throat and then shot him in the head for good measures. The only thing Jodi didn’t do was pull her ex out of the house and run him over a few times with her car.

All through her trial, Jodi put on this baby tone of voice and sympathetic demeanor to try and sway the jury by flashing her big brown eyes at them. It seems like her antics worked. A lot of them felt sorry for her.

Although she was found guilty on all counts, a sentence was not passed down at the time. Bear in mind, the murder took place 7 years ago. How long should any family have to wait for justice?

Judge Sherry Stephens in all of her wisdom is going to take her old sweet time sentencing this psychopath and waiting until April 13 to pass sentence. The good judge is torn between life in prison or a life term with the possibility of release after 25 years.

Why would she even be considering parole?

The court systems in this country is constantly crying the blues that they are backed-up and the cost of convicting someone has become cost prohibitive.

Does it surprise anyone, when someone is found guilty there is so much indecision on what their sentence should be that it takes years and millions of dollar to decide?

It is the American way.

When a person is found guilty, regardless of the crime they  should be sentenced the very same day are convicted.

Judge Roy Bean would have had her swinging a long time ago.
