This month is a new month with new findings on whether coffee and eggs are good for a person or not.
Is too much coffee bad for our us? Do too many eggs have an adverse effect on our health? Who really knows but as of today there are new findings, may be.
Put your worries to rest all of you addicted java gulpers and yolk busters. THEY can’t seem to make up their minds about these ever changing complex problems. One day THEY say too much coffee is bad for you, now THEY say drinking up to 5 – 8 oz. cups a day is OK.
At one time THEY said more than 6 eggs a week are bad for a person. Recently THEY have new findings that a healthy person can eat 3 a day. Good news for the farmers. I bet the chickens are sore.
First of all, I often wondered who THEY really are?
I have concluded that THEY are people that have received federal grants or funding, THEY don’t have anything better with their time so THEY look for frivolous subject to dissect.
There is one saying that I have always liked; one man’s pleasure is another man’s poison. What may be good for me is not good for someone else. Each person has to find their own niche in the food world.
I have always been a firm believer that if a person eats in moderation and works-out religiously, they could eat just about anything they wanted.
Notice; anytime there is a weight reduction commercial or advertising on the TV; THEY always stress; used with the proper diet and exercise.
The two key words are eating in moderation and working-out. Both require a lot of discipline and self-control.
With all of the temptations out there it is a very tough assignment. Between all of the cooking shows, baking shows on the tube, the food related reality shows, us constantly being bombarded by fast food commercials, it take a person with a tough constitution to maintain a healthy eating lifestyle.
Tomorrow morning put your worries aside. For breakfast you can eat a three egg omelet with jalapeno, ham, chopped potatoes and a slice of mozzarella cheese. Wash that puppy down with 3 or 4 cups of your favorite coffee; you will be good to go.
Then go put your chubby butt on the treadmill for about 30 minutes and work off all that once taboo food that is now good for you to eat. THEY would approve!
